Sun on the Meadow

Using putty knives and palette knives I painted this piece over two afternoons in late October in Conway, MA. I was struck by the glow of the sun on the grass and the fluffy seedheads of the meadow flowers. I tried to capture the sun-drenched quality of the scene.
