Original Woodblock Print "Tiny Traveler" Hummingbird Print
$55.00
I was so excited during the summer of the pandemic to see hummingbirds in the yard! No matter how many times one appeared in the garden, it was still a thrill. I am amazed that these tiny creatures actually migrate thousands of miles from Central America to my yard in Western Mass. And I felt happy that we were providing enough flowers and habitat that they had chosen our home to "summer" in.
So I made this little woodblock print in honor of the hummingbird.
Created using a reduction woodblock process with three layers of non-toxic ink on thick, archival paper. A limited edition set of ten original prints, created by hand. These are not reproductions. Each print is unique, and colors will vary slightly.
Image measures 4x6" and comes matted in an acid-free 8x10 mat. Signed and numbered.
* Your purchase supports land conservation: I donate 10% of profits from my nature art to the Franklin Land Trust, which works to preserve farm and wild land in Western Massachusetts.
Made with love--enjoy!
